Read all about it! New report published on Innovation and Growth

Innovators in the region may be interested to read a new report published in The Times on Innovation and Growth, which the Bristol & Bath Science Park has contributed to.

The report contains a whole host of advice from industry leaders and debates on issues that affect innovative businesses.

Learn more about how to handle disruptive technologies, innovating in an ever-faster world and getting the best out of a limited research and development budget.

There’s also a big feature on how good design is integral to innovation.

“Innovation has to make money and usually involves new technology, but it’s got to work for people. Design is fundamentally about considering innovation from a human-centred view,” says Mat Hunter, chief design officer at the Design Council.

There is also a regional breakdown, which shows how different parts of the country are innovating and growing. It shows that the Bristol and Bath area is a hotspot for creative industries and the number of patent applications is also high.

Check out the Science Park’s contribution to the report on page 13.
