Bristol & Bath Science Park shortlisted for Insider marketing award

30.09.13

The Bristol & Bath Science Park and PR agency Spirit Public Relations have been shortlisted in the South West Business Insider Property Awards ‘Marketing Campaign of the Year’ category.

The award is designed to recognise those who’ve worked creatively in either marketing property directly or putting in place the conditions for developers and landlords to prosper.

The joint submission was centred around the first anniversary of the Park last September, a campaign designed to position it on a national stage and cement its role as major regional innovation hub.

A series of integrated and imaginative marketing activities were delivered, including a high-level debate led by Will Hutton, one of the country’s most influential economic commentators; the unveiling of the world’s first solar chandelier; new tenant announcements and a marketing video.

The campaign has contributed to the Innovation Centre being 89 per cent let (with 32 companies) and the Grow-On Centre being 75 per cent let.

The anniversary event generated more than forty pieces of press coverage, including national and international coverage on MailOnline and Discovery News, plus a live piece from the Science Park on BBC Points West.

The results will be announced at the awards ceremony on 17th October 2013. Watch this space!
