Miliband takes his election campaign to the Science Park site
Ed Miliband, Leader of the Labour Party, praised the work of the National Composites Centre, located at the Science Park site in Emersons Green, during an election campaign address to employees and the wider regional business community
As part of a questions and answer session he was asked by Bonnie Dean, the chief executive of the Bristol & Bath Science Park about his Party’s investment plans in the science and technology sector.
In response Miliband said the science budget needed to be part of a longer term framework. He went on to say that his Party, would build on what’s working and look at everything on a case by case basis.
Answering other questions related to science and technology, he also added that there was enormous potential for development within the renewable energy sector, particularly in the South West
