The Queen’s Jubilee season gets underway at the Bristol & Bath Science Park on Thursday 31 May at 4pm, with a free Jubilee Garden Party.

It takes place on Blackwell Common, a large open space in front of the main Forum community building at the Science Park, which provides an ideal place for fun and celebration.

The Park is open to the public all year round, so if you’ve never visited before, this is the perfect opportunity.

The Jubilee Garden Party will give people a chance to relax in a lovely green setting and there will be plenty of entertainment for adults and children alike. As well as some fun science, you will be able to take part in some traditional Garden Party games. You can even enter your team into a Jubilee Pentathlon, open to all age groups, featuring suitable traditional English summer fete activities, such as Egg and Spoon and Sack Races.

Friska, the Science Park foodies, will be on hand to help whet your appetite and quench your thirst with some great summer food which will be on sale at the event.
