The Big Data Excellence Awards 2018 were a great success last night, at the stunning De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in central London with Edge Intelligence winning the award for Best Emerging Technology in Big Data.

Every company in the world works with data in some way, making it perhaps the most ubiquitous part of the IT Sector. Despite that, there is still a lot of confusion about the best way to collect it, store it and use it to gain advantage. The Big Data Excellence Awards recognise and celebrate the people cutting through that confusion and making data simpler, faster and easier to work with.

With 18 categories covering every area of the Big Data and the Internet of Things, and awards presented to organisations, teams, projects, products and individuals, the evening covered the full spectrum of the industry.

With giants of the industry such as Cloudera, Splunk & Solix Technologies being shortlisted for several awards, Edge Intelligence were in prestigious company and in our opinion - this company is one to watch for the future.
