Flexible. Scalable. Yours.
Confidently push beyond the perceived limits of your own potential
With individual plots available, from half an acre to nine acres, on which to locate a building of your own specification, you have the ideal mix of autonomy with all the benefits of the wider Science Park and the vibrant, innovative atmosphere of the commercial community. Roads and utilities are already in place, allowing you to be fully operational as soon as possible. And fully redundant dark fibre gives you unrivalled bandwidth and speed of communication.
This is a commercial eco-system specifically designed for occupants and tenants from the fields of research and technology, as well as businesses which work collaboratively within these fields, to further their innovation agenda. This includes businesses that are knowledge based or involve the research and development of products and services, as well as those offering supportive manufacturing activities or relevant ancillary education, teaching, training, knowledge accumulation and so on.
You’ll be in good company; the National Composites Centre (NCC) is based on site.
Their world-class facility brings together leading industry experts and academics from the area of composites research and manufacturing. Led by the University of Bristol, the NCC is an open access area for businesses of all sizes, with offices, workshop space and teaching facilities. Current Tier One partners include Airbus, GE, GKN Aerospace, Leonardo Helicopters, QinetiQ and Rolls-Royce.
Our master plan anticipates 830,000 sq ft of occupied space across the Park, of which 140,000 sq ft opened in Autumn 2011. Our site strategy is to build buildings together to create an urban feel, and to create shared common spaces where occupiers and tenants can meet. The Park is an open environment, without fences, yet with a high level of unobtrusive 24/7 security.
As well as being designed for sustainability, the Science Park is a hub to enhance the economic strength of the region, and to accelerate the commercialisation of science and technology.
