Position:           Permanent contract, preferably Full Time though would consider Part Time for a very strong

Salary:             £30,000 - £40,000 Full-Time (subject to experience)

Job Description

Reporting to the Product Manager, we’re looking for a bright, personable Xamarin Mobile Application Software Developer, with at least 3 years experience, to join our friendly team in a dynamic, fast growing company based within the Bristol & Bath Science Park.  Working alongside other developers, you will be involved in a variety of projects and assist in the design and development of software applications.  The role is subject to a 6 month probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Work on our mobile iOS and Android applications using: Xamarin App Development with Visual Studio. Work will primarily be on iOS but experience with Android would be advantageous.
• Work to improve/develop our AMX product solutions to:
• Meet client and company needs.
• Develop robust, reliable solutions in new sectors.
• Create an outstanding and intuitive AMX user experience.
• Research and identify innovative solutions to enable our customers to be more productive.
• Any other task as directed by the Line Manager.

Required Skills and experience

At least 3 year’s experience in a similar role with experience of the following technologies:-

• Xamarin App Development.
• Development of iOS applications using Xamarin (Visual Studio).
• SQL and experience of working with databases.

Experience working with the following would be desirable/advantageous:-

• Experience of using Xamarin (Visual Studio) to develop Android apps.
• Previous experience with working with maps.
• Strong skillset in research, design and development of both new and existing software applications. 
• Ability to research and assimilate technical information from a wide range of sources.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, NVQ Level 4/5, or an equivalent level qualification, is required.
• The candidate must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK.
